Chance is a 3-sport letterman, an intense competitor in football, basketball, and track. But he's also one of the nicest, most sincere guys you'll ever meet. An outdoorsman at heart, he brought along one of his conquests for his senior session. (This must have been a BIG buck!)
We almost waited too long for those "fall colors", but spotted just a bit of color in the park to take advantage of. We did all kinds of combinations with two families together, but didn't get little Miles to look happy until the very end...then we redid all the shots with a happy Miles! Great families, great kids.
J.T. has been in several different sports, but he really enjoys weight training, baseball, and music. He's a fun guy and so easy to work with! (Psssst...don't mention those "guns" around him--he gets embarrassed easily!)
Katie's a successful sprinter on the Wildcat track team. This was one of those sessions where we almost had "too many good ones" to choose from! (Love that beautiful hair!)
I've known Michelle since she was 7 years old, and it was so much fun to see her "all grown up" now! She's a sweetheart, but she wouldn't crack that Mona Lisa smile no matter how I tried to trick her! I know it's a cliche, but what a beautiful girl, inside and out.
Kyle is a senior at Raytown South and an avid football fan. We squeezed his session in between games on a Sunday. He'd rather be listening to Metallica or watching the Florida Gators on TV, but we had a good time anyway!
Josh is one of those guys who takes a stand for what he thinks is right and isn't afraid to tell anybody about it. I have to admire that in him. He's another one of those Wildcat football players we're so proud of, and he's involved in music and politics. I have a feeling this guy could be on your ballot one of these days.
Does this guy look great in pictures or what?! I had so much fun with Zech because he was ready to make this session something different and fun. First of all, he thought it would be fun to shave twice during the session for a total of three different "looks"--great idea, huh? He climbed a wall for some pictures and did whatever it took to make a great image. And just look at the results...I loved this session!
I've known Tyler and his family for several years, and I have a lot of respect and admiration for him. He just has so much going for him that you know he's going to be successful no matter what he chooses to do. He's a great athlete, a bright student, and just one of those guys everybody loves.
Whew! I have a lot of catching up to do on here. Let's start with Meghan's second session, her fall outdoor session. The fall colors were perfectly suited for Meghan and we found some beautiful locations. Here are just a couple of my favorites.

I don't really like talking about myself, but you should know how hard I'm working to give you the best. I'm continually researching ways to improve my skills and learning techniques to showcase the best and most beautiful qualities in you. I've learned from some of the most talented photographers in the world, attending workshops and conferences. While I research current styles and trends, I also strive for a timeless quality in my portraits.
I am on the Board of Directors of the Professional Photographers Association of Greater Kansas City. I am also a member of Missouri Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of the Ozarks, Professional Photographers of America, and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
My favorite thing to do is to capture a moment, an expression, an emotion in an image that will last forever. My next favorite thing is to turn that moment into a work of art. Nothing is more emotionally satisfying to me than to see the look on your face when you first see that beautiful image brought to life in a portrait.
