New Year Special!

For orders placed in January or February, 15% off a la carte portraits, 5x7 or larger with minimum order.

Coffey family

I loved getting to know this family!  These little girls are just as sweet as they look, and it was just a pleasure to be able to photograph them all.  They made my job so easy and so much fun that I invited the girls back for another session for a different look.  Aren't they gorgeous?

The Korn Family

We had a full afternoon with the Korn family and it was a great time!  We started with their trucking company, TK Trucking, photographing the employees and their children in front of the trucks.  Then we went to the family home to do family pictures and Tanner's third birthday pictures.  Tanner's an energetic little guy, so he kept me on the run.  And he loves his Hank!

Caleb

Caleb is a senior at Archie High School.  He's a quiet guy, but he poured out his personality through his music.

Operation Smile

Thanks to your November and December session fees, we were able to give the gift of surgery to save two children's smiles.  Visit www.operationsmile.org for more information on how you can help.

Katelyn

I first met Katelyn a few years ago when her sister Jacy came to me for senior portraits, and I've been hoping she'd come back for hers.  Katelyn has an impressive headband collection (one for every outfit) and a great sense of humor.  Her little Mango is a sweetheart, too.

Gray Family

I went out to the Gray family farm on a beautiful day in the fall to photograph Bill, Susan, and all their kids and grandkids.  I have to admit, all those little ones kept me running to keep up with them...and the occasional cow wandered into the shots...but we did have a successful session with a lot of great memories for all of us.

Holly

I loved working with Holly, not only because she's a sweetheart but because she has such a great sense of humor.  She's a girl of many talents, but she doesn't take herself too seriously. My kind of girl.  She's most at ease on her little red scooter, so we had to get some shots of that.  We managed to squeeze a lot of locations into our session (including one where we waded into chin-high weeds), but I just picked a few of my favorite images.

Cody

Cody is a race car driver, and we'd made plans to do his senior pictures with his B-mod race car.  However...he rolled it a few weeks before our session.  The good news is that he was fine.  Bad news is that car needs a lot of work before we do pictures, so we're planning on another spring session.  We did get some great shots of Cody in another setting that he loves, the soccer field.

Garrett

Garrett is a very talented senior, with some crazy music and soccer skills.  We had so many ideas to work with that it was difficult to get it all into one session.  Here are just a couple of my favorite images.

Colin

OK, I don't think Colin will mind that I tell you this...but I've never seen anyone LESS excited about doing senior pictures.  Imagine if you will...no matter what I say, he responds (in an extremely bored tone), "Yeah, fun."  So about a half hour into the session, Colin came to life and I got some genuine smiles--you know, the "fun" kind!  And when we headed outside, we both were so into the session that it was hard to stop.  By then, Colin had done a complete 180.  And by the time he left, he said, "You know, this really was fun! It was a LOT of fun!"  (and not in a sarcastic way, either!)  Best testimonial ever.  Just ask him.

Kortney

Kortney was such a joy to work with because she's just as sweet as she looks.

Caitlin

Caitlin and I went on a little adventure to visit her horse for her first session, but a couple of days after that (and before we had a chance to get up to Unity Village for part two), she had a pretty serious accident on that horse.  Thank goodness she's OK!  She was so looking forward to her second session that she asked the trauma surgeon if she was going to be able to make it to her senior session the next day.  Uh...no.  So we put it off for a little while.  She's a beautiful girl, but definitely a tough one.  Needless to say, she got right back on the horse.

Holiday Special!

The Jacksons

Isn't this a beautiful family?!  It's been such a joy to be their family photographer since the oldest daughter, Ainsley, was born.  Ainsley is a miracle baby--just ask anyone who knows her.  By the way, the day after family pictures she got her hair cut and got tattooed.  (Glittery pandas...I think they've about washed off by now.)  And that little Stella is such a happy baby!  She's fast, too.  The real story of this family is in the outtakes, but I'll have to ask before I share those pictures...

Hot Summer Fun Special!

For orders placed in June or July, 15% off portraits 5x7 or larger AND...double wallets!!!

Carter

Carter is just a little bundle of energy, but we managed to get some quick shots before he revved up.  Doesn't he look handsome in his GQ suit?  It was his own idea to dress up for his pictures.

Celebration!

Three prints submitted by Tela Gough of Tela Beth Photography to the Professional Photographers of America International Print Competition have merited.  Two of the prints, Reporting for Duty and Waiting for an Eternity, will be in the General Collection.  The other print, Homestead, was accepted into the Loan Collection.  This means it will be in a traveling exhibit and will be featured in this year's Loan Collection book, published by Marathon Press.  Merits are credits earned by a photographer toward the esteemed Master Photographer title, so these prints move me closer to achieving my goal.

Eli and Sylvia

Eli and Sylvia just celebrated their second wedding anniversary.  I hope you enjoy these portraits as much as I do.  Their love and commitment to each other is evident in these special moments.
