The Zellmer, Hartzler, and Heid Families

We met the Zellmer, Hartzler, and Heid families at the family farm on Father's Day weekend.  What a beautiful setting for portraits!  It was a little toasty, but everyone was in good spirits and we had a great afternoon.

Grady

Little Grady is just about as sweet as they come.  This is his 3-month session, and his mom wanted an image that matches his two older siblings' for the wall.  He came through with flying colors, and we were even able to keep him going for some extra shots.

Samantha and Blake

Samantha and Blake will be getting married in Colorado at the end of July.  Blake, like all guys, wasn't all that crazy about having his picture taken.  But, as usual, he loosened up and we all had a great time.  I wish these two the best of everything in their new life together.

Stephanee

I love this girl...have since she was about 7.  Stephanee has everything in the world going for her, and I can't wait to see her succeed in whatever she sets her mind to.  We had so much fun throughout the session, but we especially had a good time at the Roth farm, climbing the enormous grain bin.  Stephanee was game for anything I suggested, so we had quite an adventure.  And her parents helped to make it a perfect session.

The Wassink Kids

These little people are sugar, spice, and spunk, and I wouldn't have had it any other way!  Their wonderful parents were understanding enough to let them bring their own favorite toys and make those memories that will be unique to them as they grow.  Finley brought along his collection of toy snakes, Delaney brought her "Honey" doll and her T-Rex, and little Grady at 5 weeks was sweet enough to go along with anything.

The Gibbs Bunch

Four beautiful daughters and their families...what a lot to be proud of!  Ashley, one of the daughters, and her husband Daniel are pretty special to me, so I was so grateful that they asked me to create their family portrait.  And it gave me my first chance to hold little Bentley!  The little ones in this family are just as beautiful and sweet as their mommas, too.

Tyler

Tyler is a senior at Midway High School, and this guy loves his football!  We had a lot of great images from his session, but it was easy to see he was pretty biased toward his football memories.

Haley

Haley is just about the sweetest little girl I've ever met.  She was very laid back, and she went through several wardrobe changes without a fuss.  I could have played with her all day.  And here's Haley with her loving mom and dad...

Cody's Race Car

Cody came back for a second session with his B-mod race car.  Is this a cool car or what?!  We found a place to pull it out and rev it up, and we had a blast!  It was a really windy day, and at one point I went flying off the top of the ladder, trying to get that perfect shot.

Ashton

Ashton is a senior from Lee's Summit West, and our big plan was to do "snow" pictures.  Does anybody remember getting a good snow last winter?  Nope, didn't happen.  But she was a good sport, and guess what...the girl looks gorgeous inside or out!

Nicole

Nicole is one of those versatile seniors that we could photograph anywhere in anything, and she'd look amazing.  Her session reminded me of when I used to play with my Barbies and dress them up in glamorous clothes and matching shoes.  We had so much fun with all the wardrobe selections and ideas!
Well, I have a LOT of catching up to do!  Not sure how I got this far behind, but here we go....
