Lauren

We did Lauren's senior session a little later than most because we were waiting for that beautiful smile to be revealed after four years of braces.  And it was worth it!  Great smile, fun prom dress.

Landon

Landon grew up next door and I've known him since he was born, so it was a lot of fun to be able to do his senior session for him.  Landon is an outstanding athlete. He was the quarterback for HHS's amazing football team, and he has a baseball scholarship.  Not only that, he's just an all-around great guy that I feel honored to know.

Ben

You'll find Ben working on trucks, racing lawn mowers, or hunting.  He was a reluctant senior when it came to a photo session, but it wasn't long before he was having a good time...just like all the other guys who come to Tela Beth Photography!  Just ask any of them.  You'll be comfortable and having fun before you know it.

Jesse

Jesse is into racing cars and trucks, and he plays the trumpet at HHS.  I had such a good time with him and his fun family!

Catching up...

I admit it.  I've been a bad blogger lately.  It's just something that isn't in my regular workflow yet, but I'm working on it.  So I have some catching up to do.  Thank you for your patience!  Here we go...
I have four seniors, a family, and a couple to share with you.

HHS Girls Soccer

I was honored to be asked to make banners for our girls soccer team this year.  Our seniors hung life-size banners along with the senior group banner at each home game.  We also made this poster for the whole team.  What an awesome group of girls!  Their dedication and commitment took them to the state championship play-offs this year, and we were all so proud of them!

Heart of America Professional Photographers Association

HOAPPA recently held its annual print competition in Kansas City, and I was honored to have received three merit awards for my prints, Homestead, Reporting for Duty, and Waiting for an Eternity.  Homestead also received the Kodak Gallery Award as well as the Fuji Masterpiece Award.  In addition, I was named among the Top Ten Professional Photographers of Missouri.  What a night!  And what a blessing.  I'm always amazed at the talent we see at these exhibits and I'm honored to be a part of it.  The next step is International Print Competition in June.
